Illegal Transport Methods

Law Enforcement Objectives

Representatives further stated that "The objective of our agencies is to confiscate the maximum possible volumes of smuggled items and to apprehend coordinators and involved individuals so that these practices become unprofitable and do not pose risk to commercial air travel."

International Concerns

The recent incidents occur during an era marked by heightened tension in Europe following multiple unmanned aircraft violations that have resulted in flight interruptions across the region.

Parallel situations in neighboring countries have caused EU officials to speed up talks about enhancing aerial security throughout the region.
